Do I need to be home?
This is completely up to you! Most of the time we use garage codes, lock boxes or the clients key.
How do I prepare for my cleaning?
In order for us to do our job we ask that you pick up clothing, toys and other household items. We will not know where your personal items belong and we prefer that we do not go into your closets or drawers to put things away (unless specified in services). When you schedule your appointment, please communicate any specific wishes to the office, your priorities, and possible areas that you may have concerns about. Please make sure that we know how we are going to get into your home if you are away: Key location, entry code, alarm code (if necessary).
How do your arrival windows work?
Most windows are 1 hour (for example, 8 am-9 am) due to traffic and the nature of driving to homes and bringing in supplies.
Do I need to provide supplies?
We provide all supplies & equipment needed to clean your home, if there is a product you have at home that you prefer we’ll be happy to use it!
Can I leave a note for the cleaners?
Absolutely, Please feel free to leave a note or email the office. Regardless of the reason, we very much appreciate your communication. If you have a special request, have a concern, or are pleased with how well we clean, please let us know. We normally call you after your initial cleaning to confirm your satisfaction.
What should I expect on my first visit?
We will arrive with a warm welcome and our cleaning supplies needed to complete the cleaning thoroughly. The initial visit will take longer due to familiarizing ourselves with your home and performing a in depth and detailed clean. A good rule of thumb is that a Initial (deep) cleaning will normally take about two times longer than a maintenance cleaning. Your following visits will be quicker.
What if something was missed during my cleaning?
Please call us within 24 hours if something was missed. We take pride in our work and if we miss something, please let us know so that we can correct that oversight as quickly as possible. We guarantee our service and will return to correct the mistake at no additional charge.
Will the same person be cleaning my house every visit?
You will get the same consistent cleaning team of 1-3 people each cleaning.
When & how do I make a payment?
Payment is due at the time of service. We gladly accept checks, cash, Venmo, Visa, Master Card & Discover. If you are going to pay with a credit card please call our office and provide us with your credit card information. Your card will be charged at the end of the day. As soon as it gets approved you will automatically receive a receipt via email. If you are going to pay with a check please make it payable to Simply Natural Cleaning. There will be a fee of $30 for returned checks.
What is your cancellation & lock out fee policy?
We ask for a minimum of 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your cleaning. This gives us the opportunity to assist another clients needs.
Less than 48hr notice will incur a fee
If cleaners are sent to job and can’t access (a “lock-out”)
A lock out is if our team shows up to clean and no notice to cancel was given, you will be charged lock out fee.
Do you carry insurance for damage?
Yes, we are fully insured. While every effort is made to use great care in your home, sometimes accidents do happen. If we should damage or break something, we will make every effort to have the item repaired or if necessary it will be replaced.
